Kim Kadashian Denies affair with another Football star

There were rumours recently that Kim K is secretly dating NFL player Mark Sanchez, but the reality star has denied the rumours and also said she will never date another football player again, thanks mostly to her rough and failed relationship with another NFL player, Reggie Bush.

Now that she's had another rough and failed relationship with a basketball player - Kris Humphries, she will probably also swear off basketball players. But she still has many other options - tennis players, golfers, race car drivers, hockey players...plenty to chose from Ms K..*winks*

The Greatness Of Love

Once upon a time all feelings and emotions went to a coastal island for a vacation. According to their nature, each was having a good time. Suddenly, a warning of an impending storm was announced and everyone was advised to evacuate the island.
The announcement caused sudden panic. All rushed to their boats. Even damaged boats were quickly repaired and commissioned for duty.
Yet, Love did not wish to flee quickly. There was so much to do. But as the clouds darkened, Love realised it was time to leave. Alas, there were no boats to spare. Love looked around with hope.
Just then Prosperity passed by in a luxurious boat. Love shouted, “Prosperity, could you please take me in your boat?”
“No,” replied Prosperity, “my boat is full of precious possessions, gold and silver. There is no place for you.”
A little later Vanity came by in a beautiful boat. Again Love shouted, “Could you help me, Vanity? I am stranded and need a lift. Please take me with you.”
Vanity responded haughtily, “No, I cannot take you with me. My boat will get soiled with your muddy feet.”
Sorrow passed by after some time. Again, Love asked for help. But it was to no avail. “No, I cannot take you with me. I am so sad. I want to be by myself.”
When Happiness passed by a few minutes later, Love again called for help. But Happiness was so happy that it did not look around, hardly concerned about anyone.
Love was growing restless and dejected. Just then somebody called out, “Come Love, I will take you with me.” Love did not know who was being so magnanimous, but jumped on to the boat, greatly relieved that she would reach a safe place.
On getting off the boat, Love met Knowledge. Puzzled, Love inquired, “Knowledge, do you know who so generously gave me a lift just when no one else wished to help?”
Knowledge smiled, “Oh, that was Time.”
“And why would Time stop to pick me and take me to safety?” Love wondered.
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and replied, “Because only Time knows your true greatness and what you are capable of. Only Love can bring peace and great happiness in this world.”
“The important message is that when we are prosperous, we overlook love. When we feel important, we forget love. Even in happiness and sorrow we forget love. Only with time do we realize the importance of love. Why wait that long? Why not make love a part of your life today?”

D’Banj Super Exclusive: How We Got Kanye West Deal + US Project Will cost $3M!

It might have started with a tweet from Mo’Hits Records C.E.O Don Jazzy but now two record labels from two different continents have signed deals and are making power moves. Yes, if you have been sleeping for the last one week, let’s do you the favour by letting you know that US rapper Kanye West has signed the Mo’Hits crew to his G.O.O.D Music record label.
Some snorted at the news, calling it another cheap publicity shot, some faithfuls stuck with the Mo’Hits camp while some still remained sceptical because we all were yet to get confirmation. But things changed when group pictures of both camps surfaced online. The ‘doubting Thomas’’ crawled into their shells…
To buttress their point, the Mo’Hits crew organized a press conference which was held yesterday Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Koko Lounge 3rd Floor E-Centre 1-11 Commercial Avenue, Yaba, Lagos.
This is what went down:
The press conference was meant to commence at 11AM and by 10:30AM, banners and sound equipment were already being set up. By 11AM, the gentlemen of the press started trooping in but the Mo’Hits crew or management were nowhere to be found. I guess it’s safe to say they were observing the ‘African time’ rule. With nothing much to do, the journalist chatted with up old colleagues and made acquaintances with new ones while they got accredited.
By 1:05PM, D’Prince, Wande Coal and Dr. SID stepped into the building and got themselves seated at the makeshift conference table which had only five seats – meaning that D’banj and Don Jazzy where ones yet to arrive. By 1:13, D’banj walked into the lounge, followed by music video director Sesan Ogundairo. The Entertainer, who was dressed in a white t-shirt and blue jeans, immediately apologized to all who had been waiting and hurriedly took his seat. By 1:13 Don Jazzy dressed in a simple Navy blue shirt and light blue African print pants and black slippers strolled in with his other brother Jame. Mr. Ogbonnaya Amadi, entertainment editor at the Vanguard Newspaper gave an opening prayer and the ball was set rolling…
D’banj took everyone on a time travel; back to when his career kicked off in Nigeria; how he met his manager Sunday Are at the Beenie Man concert in 2004 and the next year released his debut album ‘No long thing’ under the newly floated record label Mo’Hits Records which he set up with his producer/business partner Don Jazzy. How they went on to sign, Dr. SID, Wande Coal, D’Prince and Kay Switch.
Moving on to more current things, he explained that he and Don Jazzy met Kanye West in November, 2010 at the Dubai International airport and played the remix to ‘Mr Endowed’ which featured fellow US rapper Snoop Dogg. Kanye who gave them 30 minutes chance to prove themselves was quite impressed with the music and asked them fly over to New York.
‘Now that we have bridged the gap, the likes of Wizkid, M.I and PSquare can make major move too. I would like to see 2face on Akon’s Konvict Records’, D’banj said.
D’banj announced that a video clip was going to be played, and soon enough the lights were dimmed and the video came on; 10 seconds into the video, D’banj who looked slightly irritated, instructed Sesan who was in charge of the visuals, to stop and replay the video, this time with a higher volume.
If anyone still had any strand of doubt about the G.O.O.D Music/Mo’Hits signing, it would totally vanish after one watched the video clip. It showed Kanye West, Jay Z, G.O.O.D Music’s Kid Cudi and Pusha T, D’Banj, Don Jazzy along with  bunch of label execs in a room witnessing Kanye sign a document which he passed on to a lady to verify then D’banj signed. D’banj was particular about the camera picking up the document that he spread it right in front for everybody to see, a subtle Don jazzy stood beside emotionless as usual. After then, the video phased into the same scenario but with D’Banj’s ‘Scapegoat’ single playing in the background; Kanye was reciting the lyrics of the song, smiling to his signee and now D’banj’s label mate Pusha T while the latter nodded in agreement. Later on D’prince’s ‘Give it to me’ came on and that got Kanye really moving in his seat. It is official; all doubts have now been thrown out of the window.
Next was a question and answer session which was moderated by Ogbonnaya Amadi:
Would you be staying in Lagos or relocating to New York since you have been signed to a US based record label?
D’banj: Living in the US? It’s Lagos straight to JFK for me! I’ll be spending time properly in US. Don Jazzy will be producing for G.O.O.D music. I have two months more to complete the album. You are going to hear song with 2face and Wande Coal on it.
Where all Mo’hits signed to G.O.O.D Music or is it just D’banj and Don Jazzy?

Don Jazzy: For them to sign Don Jazzy and D’banj, they’ve signed the whole of Africa. G.O.O.D Music has an idea that there’s a Mo’hits crew, its Mo’Hits/ G.O.O.D Music deal. They won’t be touching our style or music. We have our own money, lawyers, Jewish lawyers. We are not hungry, Mo’Hits is sponsoring themselves. D’banj’s project is going to cost us 3 million Dollars.

What’s the duration of your contract?

Don jazzy: It has no duration
Will G.O.O.D Music be handling other Mo’Hits’ franchises like Koko Mobile?
D’Banj: No, G.O.O.D Music will only be handling music; it’s not a 360 deal. They will not be touching my Kokomobile or taking over Koko Lounge. By the way, we will be opening Koko Lounge 2 on the Island very soon.
Will Mo’Hits be signing any artiste in the nearest future?
Don Jazzy: If there is time, we would like to sign a first lady of Mo’Hits, we are looking at this year or early next year.
D’Banj: We will be staging Koko Mansion season 2 but this time will not be to find the ideal woman but to search for the First Lady of the Mo’Hits crew.
There is a forthcoming collaborative album ‘Watch The Throne’ by Jay Z and Kanye West, will D’banj be featuring on it and/or Don Jazzy producing?
Don Jazzy: Over 50 songs have been recorded for the project and I won’t want to say what we have done will make the final cut so let’s just wait the album is out.
D’banj, now that you have broken into the international market, will your clothing style or brand change?
I’ll still be sticking with my very good designer friends, the Okunoren twins. I will also go with the flow, anything that looks good, I’ll be wearing.

‘I Am Not Ashamed To Say My Father Died of AIDS’ – BBA Winner, Karen Igho

For 91 days, the whole of Africa had its eyes on the Big Brother Amplified TV reality show: the fights, the kisses, the shower scenes, the gossips which all tallied up to give a creative and power packed show made up of 26 contestants from around the continent.
Reports from the Big Brother Amplified website suggest that this year’s edition was the most viewed from cable television; also recording the most follower ship online. But most will agree that one of the Nigerian contestants, the notorious Karen Igho was the most prominent as she stood out right from the beginning of the show to the very end. And oh yea, she also won and walked away with N32M!
Let’s do a quick survey: Facebook suggests that Karen has about 9500 ‘Likes’ on her fan page. The closest to that is Weza with 7000 plus. Karen managed to summon all the controversies around her into one big punch and convincingly knocked out any other contestants who stood in her way.
Karen’s strategy was simple – she says ‘I was just myself’.
We might have seen Karen’s down to earth mannerisms and her sometimes over-the-top tantrums in the house but we knew little about her personal life. Most viewers who had either praised or chastised her didn’t know Karen’s story.
She claims that her 45-year-old mother was a gangster and she (Karen) worked as a stripper in Europe before coming back to Nigeria to participate in the Next Movie Star reality show. It’s been a rough one for the light skinned lady, little wonder why she wears a tough skin.
And on her father, she says ‘I don’t really know my father. He married my mother at a very young age but now he is dead. He died of HIV AIDS. I am not ashamed to say it. I wish I saw him to ask him questions, to ask him why he blamed me for things I didn’t do. I didn’t get the chance to tell him I loved him.
Speaking at a press conference organized by MNET Nigeria at Planet One, Lagos on her return last week, Karen poured out her heart out in an interactive ‘Question and Answer’ session.
The journey wasn’t an easy one. Whatever anyone said about me, good or bad, I thank you and I say one love. I had no strategy unlike what most people think. I was just myself.
As per being a role model, Karen says we shouldn’t expect her to change from the character she portrayed in the house. ‘It’s real life in there and out here, so I won’t stop anything’.
Who would agree that most men watched the BBA show because of Karen’s boob job? A lot of guys won’t deny too, they outrightly sat in front of their TV sets waiting for her to gesticulate just to grab a glimpse of her ‘endowment’.  Others have criticised and frowned at her ‘enhancement’, but Karen says there’s a reason behind it. ‘My boobs were never a strategy, when I discovered I had lumps in my breasts, I had removed them and had the boob job done to prevent any further occurrence. It’s funny how my mother got to hear on the show. My 17-year-old sister recently discovered lumps in her breasts too’.
Now, she ‘wants to create awareness.  I want people to know that the disease is real. I am going to use part of my winnings to do a massive campaign about this disease.
Talking about her winning BBA6, Karen said ‘I didn’t know I was going to win even though I didn’t see anybody as my competitor. My head was straight. I saw everybody as potential winner. That is why we were in the house in the first place. Anyways, we are all stars.’
And when asked if she would ever go back to the house (maybe for a BBA all winners edition), she responded ‘Of course I will, so Africa will vote for me again!’ She also added ‘As per the money, I will think of what to do with it later on. But I will keep to my words. I will give some to my friends in the house like I said I would.’

After seven years of what appeared to the public as a blissful marriage Hollywood entertainers Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have announced their separation.
The news was made in a joint press statement revealed by People Magazine. ’We have decided to end our marriage, This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters‘, the couple expressed in the statement. ‘It is a painful time for all involved,” the statement continued, “and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time‘, the statement continued.
Lopez and Marc who have a set of twins Max and Emme surprised the world with their marriage back in 2004 at Lopez’s Beverly Hills home. The wedding came as a surprise as even family and guests who were invited thought it was a summer party they were to attend. Their marriage came after Lopez had ended her highly publicized relationship with Hollywood hunk Ben Affleck.
NET Quick Facts
Prior to their marriage in 2004, Lopez and Anthony had dated in the 90s.
Anthony has a first wife Torres who bore sons Cristin, 10, and Ryan, 7.
Lopez dated Bad Boy Records C.E.O Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and later on Hollywood actor Ben Affleck before marrying Anthony in 2004.
Lopez also dated her former backup dancer Cris Judd, to whom she was married from 2001 to 2003.

Controversy On The Just concluded MBGN

There have been very serious allegations, hanging over the recently concluded Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria beauty pageant which took place on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Expo Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Tongues have been wagging ever since the pageant organizers crowned Miss Taraba, Sylvia Nduka as winner of the most respected beauty pageant in the country. Critics have cried out, fans have spoken up, the online and offline media have fueled several speculations; with contestants and some judges reportedly suggesting that there is a strong possibility of bribery and corruption and favouritism.
In what can be described as the ‘worst and least popular’ MBGN pageant in recent years, it was quite a shock for viewers of the most respected beauty pageant in the country to watch the proceedings of the night eventually turn out the way it did.
It was the last stage of the pageant as the last 15 finalists were cut down to the top 5 and the question and answer session came on. Show hosts Chris Okenwa and Michelle Dede then began asking the last five standing questions (Miss Gombe, Enugu, Lagos, Taraba, and Bayelsa).
The first question was directed to Miss Taraba. She bungled the answer, stuttering and mumbling. Fans jeered and booed on Twitter and in the hall.
The crowd roared in laughter as everybody wondered how on earth she had made it that far in the competition. Michelle who asked her the question calmed the crowd and asked her again. She mumbled something and the audience roared with more laughter…At this point even Miss Taraba herself knew that her grammatical blunder had cost her the title.
The others answered their own question pretty well, Miss Lagos, Ndam Grace was impeccable with her speech and Miss Enugu – Obioma Isiwu‘s speech brought tears to the eyes as she thanked her mother for the support.
So it was quite a shock to hear Silverbird Group VP Guy Murray-Bruce announce that Miss Taraba who just a few minutes before had committed a horrible blunder on live TV was the MBGN 2011 winner. To her bewilderment (everybody could even see the shock on her face); she stepped up and received her crown.
Now people who had followed the MBGN pageant live on TV were really upset and didn’t intend to hide their thoughts as they took to different social media platforms most especially the micro blogging site Twitter to rain verbal abuses on both the organizers and the newly crowned queen herself!
I’m trully embarrassed. The girl who couldn’t express herself in good english is d most beautiful girl in Nig. I’ve lost all respect for MBGN‘, popular blogger Linda Ikeji tweeted through her @lindaikeji handle. ‘MBGN Top5 #epicfail. That’s what happens when businessmen are judges‘, she continued.
Nothing could have been more choreographed. Not inspiring at all. In the end, the only person who fluffed her lines won. #MBGN‘, said activist Amara Nwakpa (@bubusn).
Other comments quickly surfaced, reaching thousands, and causing ‘Taraba’ to trend globally on Twitter. No one was happy, and they poured out their feelings.
Another wrote, ‘I’m in shock, she didn’t even answer the question
An angry viewer tweeted, ‘Ojoro don enter am o! Worst MBGN ever
Before long, a spoof account was created (@MissTarabaMBGN) and the handle kept tweeting grammatical blunders. It wasn’t long until #Taraba and #MBGN started trending…worldwide.
One would wonder how on earth the result would pan out the way it did. We could only look up to the judges for an explanation. The MBGN programme brochure suggests that there were nine judges; Nollywood actress Susan Peters, Prince Tonye T.J.T Princewill, Ms. Nike Adegoke, Mr. Femi Solebo, Mr. Bankola Animashaun, Ms. Caline Chagoury and Mr. George Uboh. The remaining two judges Mr. Chris Ndulue and Genevieve Nnaji were absent. On speaking with Genevieve’s rep in the UK – Vanessa Amadi, she claimed that the Nollywood star was approached but she turned the position down stating that she was not going to be available and that they were quite surprised to hear she was still included.
Only 24 hours after the pageant, compassnewspaper.com reported that some judges (who prefer to stay anonymous) have also complained that the name that was announced was not that of the person they had picked as the winner. According to Compass Newspaper, Miss Bayelsa, Gemal Sophie, is who the judges claimed to have picked on their cards.
In the Compass article, they also complained that the organisers did not follow the list that was given to them, when the 34 contestants were reduced to the final 15.
Also very evident, and disturbing, is the issue of age discrepancy. A video clip recorded by the Silverbird crew, which shows the contestants introduce themselves and urge their fans to vote for them was aired on TV and uploaded online. In this video, ages of the contestants don’t correlate with the ages given in the brochure. Ms Sylvia Nduka who was listed as 20 years old in the pageant brochure said she was 23 in the video clip. There were more birth year errors.
By winning the pageant, Miss Taraba Sylvia Nduka went home with N3 million and a brand new Hyundai Accent car, 2010 edition.
Speaking with Nigerian Entertainment Today, the Marketing manager and member of the organising committee of the pageant Abimbola Ayorinde, told us ‘There is always something to be said, the public should try to understand that these girls went through rigorous training, they did their makeup and all other preps by themselves before we took over
On Miss Taraba winning, she said ‘Everybody will always have something to say when someone wins. Even when Agbani Darego won in 2001, people talked. We should understand that people who supported other contestants that didn’t win won’t be necessarily happy with the results. And as for Miss Taraba goofing her questions, it’s just a case of her being nervous, I spoke with her at the after party of the pageant and she was quite eloquent
When asked about the age mix-ups, Ayorinde explained ‘It must be production error, if you want a copy of each of the contestants’ birth certificate, we can provide it as form of proof‘.
Here are a few exclusive pictures from behind the scenes…

Funke Fowler

Funke Fowler Set to wed Chief Bayo Kuku's Son

Fowler

In April, Funke Fowler of Leila Fowler boutique and Abi Kuku, Lagos big boy had their traditional wedding introduction.

The Kuku’s family with all the emblem of royalty from Ijebu Ode formally met that in-law last weekend in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi.

The groom is the son of eminent businessman and Ogbeni Oja of Ijebuland, Chief Adebayo Kuku. He is regarded as one of the richest and most influential Ijebu sons.
The first stage of Abi and Funke’s marriage was held in Funke’s grandma’s home inside the elitist Parkview Estate, Ikoyi.

Funke looked scintillating in a blue lace with white and silver accessories; while Abi was in his signature white.
Leila’s grand mother is the successful educationist. She runs  Vivian Fowler Memorial College for girls in Lagos. Funke’s father, Chief Babatunde Fowler is the Chairman of Lagos State Board on Internal revenue. He is said to be close to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other members of the Lagos political family.

From what we've gathered that the two love birds decided to live the rest of their lives together and also set machinery in motion for their wedding , when Abi finally proposed to Leila in London.
It was during the famous Prince Harry and Kate Middleton royal wedding. Though they have been dating for sometime, we gathered Funke got the wedding proposal ring during that period.
The wedding will hold in Lagos and Dubai in November.
Meanwhile when the couple announced their engagement, lots of people criticized Funke that she’s an arrogant snob! Others believe she was greatly misunderstood.
Some are also of the opinion that she wanted to have a wedding that is low  key, that is why she didn’t let most people into the detail of the arrangement. That is certainly impossible said a Lagos boy, considering the prominence of  both families in their respective states.

The lovebirds who have been dating for quite a while got engaged in April and are planning a superlative wedding for November.

We certainly cant wait for this Royal wedding. We trust her style will be even better than that of Princess Catherine...
She's a woman of STYLE .. See

Congratulations.
